From a blank page to the printed copies.

I created the concept of the eCrime Reports series and for each report, I managed the layout, the bibliographic information, and the printing phase.

PROJECTS AND REPORTS

eCrime – ICT, law & criminology is the research Group on crime and security at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento. The “eCrime Reports” series started in 2014 to collect the final reports of the European research projects coordinated by the Group.

I created the concept of the series and for each report, I managed the layout, the documentation related to the bibliographic information (ISSN and ISBN), and the printing phase.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

In the balance between creativity and method

Creativity is required in the design phase of the concept of the series and the creation of the visual identity with samples of each element from heading to the body text, and from tables to charts.

A working method is required in the layout phase when you receive the final version of the document and then you have to cope with importing issues, charts and illustrations redesign, deadline and so on.

A balance between creativity and method is required in the layout of each page in which you have to manage all the elements according to the visual identity of the report.
